Chick Wren (Lead Vocal  & Guitar)

Chick  is an established singer songwriter from Birmingham UK, playing electric and acoustic guitar.

Chick has shared the bill in the past with the likes of Kim Wilson and the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Maria Muldaur and the Former Members of The Steve Miller Band, Country Joe and the Fish and Al Coopers Blues Project and Edgar Broughton.

Chick has performed live on BBC Radio and at The Fete d’Humanite Festival, Paris. Chick was a regular performer at Ronnie Scott's (Birmingham).

Pete Walsh  (Lead Guitar & Vocals)

Pete recently supported Adam Ant on his comeback tour 

(The Good, The Mad and the Ugly Tour) which took Pete all

over the UK playing at the likes of The London Scala

Theatre and Birmingham’s O2. Pete has reunited with Chick

Wren and The Rollin’ River Band to work on the new

album 'Hoodoo River'. An accomplished professional, his distinct playing style, built and road tested over many years, contributes to

the original sound of Chick Wren’s Rollin’ River Band.

Andy Sutor (Bass)

Andy signed his first record deal back in 1985 with the Birmingham based band Glee Club, since then, Andy, a veteran of the Midlands music scene has continued to record and tour extensively, currenty with"The 58's Blues Band".

Andy was hand-picked by Chick to provide the bedrock on which the bands original sound is built.

Paul Willetts (Drums)

Paul has been part of the British music scene for over four decades. Paul had shared various line-ups in different bands across these years. He has consistently recorded and performed during this period.

Paul's former band colleagues have included the likes of  Martin Barre (Jethro Tull), 'Rosco the bass' (Steve Winwood) and Dave Ball (Procol Harum).
Paul has played a wide variety of venues including the world famous, (original) Cavern in Liverpool and on the maiden voyage and Atlantic crossings of the QE2 with the world renowned Applejacks. He has played many and various venues including New York  and Birmingham NIA.

Freddy Pirotta (Keys)

Freddie's keyboard skills were honed over many years on the London Jazz and Blues circuit. He studied Jazz piano under Howard Riley at The University of London's Goldsmiths College, and he has played in countless settings from solo piano to big band's in every conceivable style with many well known artists.

Phil Brittle (Percussion)

Phil is the quintessential journeyman drummer and percussionist. Having played in an early line-up of The Band of Joy with Robert Plant he went on to later success with Midlands bands Possessed and Quill. Phil lays down some energetic and exciting percussion on several tracks on the forthcoming album 'Hoodoo River'.

Tim Jennings (Sax)

Called to the Ministry in 1978, ordained in 1986 and currently Archdeacon in the 'Church of the Frightened Mind'.
Spent formative years in relative isolation at Flamborough Head Lighthouse where he learned Saxophone playing along to his Count Basie, Sun Ra & Funkadelic record collection.
Met Chick with The 58's during a band confessional in 2011 and now fulfils occasional Saxophone & Chaplaincy duties.
